Response to Intervention is defined as a process of achieving high levels of academic and behavioral success for ALL students.
Data shows that schools implementing PBIS with fidelity report dramatic reductions in office referrals, increases in student achievement, and noted improvement in positive school climate from students and staff.
CESA 4 directors are available to help facilitate the development and implementation of RtI systems, both academic and behavioral, based on the knowledge that we have of statewide initiatives. This support for districts will assist in the integration of curriculum and assessment with the RtI initiative to develop a seamless School Improvement Plan.
